Watching the Splashing

I thought it was rather interesting how this little bird was sitting there peacefully observing all the water-churning happening, and even splashes on himself perhaps. Maybe he was hanging out there to catch some kind of aquatic wild life that might be flung about in the splashing of the waves on the rocks?

Going through my old photos, I recently came across this one I had taken at the coast in Florence, OR. It seems as though the sky folds at the horizon and continues as the ocean, to form one continuous blue, white and silver blanket. Mother nature is wondrous.
