Lovely…is this HDR? The light exposure is great.
thanks Beth, no this is just a regular single exposure shot.
Really neat image ankush. It is great to get to see all these photos of places I’ve never been. Such amazing sites. I love the contrast you captured between the cool colors and the warm colors.
I love this shot it is really beautiful. It’s interesting how it almost looks like the lamps were placed in the frame later.. I like it when you capture images with that kind of simplicity. (Like your curb shot) really nice! It’s not exactly minimalistic (because the background is so busy) but your use of coloring makes it so. Really neat concept.
nice colours and lighting
Extraordinary amount of colors in this. Such a beautiful structure and so well captured.
That really shows the texture & beauty of the Hagia Sofia / Ayasofya. Was it under restoration when you visited? The interior had a lot of scaffolding when I was there in April 2006.
I am just so glad to be able to see these photos. My first exposure to this building was in my art history studies when I was in college and I have been curious about it since.
Outstanding, Ankush, in composition, subject, and colors. Love it!
