I took a serious interest in photography in 2006, when I bought myself a Nikon D70s DSLR camera and took a nature photography class at Lane Community College under instructor David Stone. After that I have been continuing to study photography through the internet and through books. I have learned a lot through my fellow bloggers as well.
For my ‘day job’ I work as a software engineer, I also play music with various bands. Feel free to browse through my website for more info: http://ankush.vimawala.com

Hey this is a very good site that allows you to display your photo -adventures…Your pix appear quite nicely.
What sort of assignments are you soliciting from the viewers ?
Industrial photography ? Nature shots ? Calender pix ? Book pix ?
Cover pages ? Greeting cards ?
and why do they have to contact you to extract a copy of any of what you are displaying ? They can easily get a printout for themselves without your knowlede, and why not, if it is NOT for commercial exploitation ?
Good luck.
Should’nt you also experiment in Portraits ? not just mug shots but faces with some expressions ?
and how about some felf portraits ?
Enjoy.
Daddy
Hey thanks for the comment Dad. I will reply at length in an email.

Brilliant photos. I’m interested in using your May 23, 2008 pic of Yosemite Falls for my business cards. My business is for parent coaching, called Parent Strong. Yosemite has always been a source of strength for me, so very meaningful to use.
Dear Ankush,

Ankush,
I love your photography and I’ve run across your shots several times in various locations. Some of your shots have a very HDR quality to them but I didn’t see any mention of HDR in your descriptions; for example, the shot of the interior of Hagia Sophia (I used to live in Istanbul! Woot!) Do you use HDR techniques for a lot of your shots? Keep up the good work!

Also, I saw that you got the Digipro 8″x6″ tablet from Woot. I also got it but I haven’t gotten it to work with my MacBook Pro yet…any advice?!
Could you please contact ken@1800blogger.com
